Animated-Literacy™ introduces letter symbols, letter patterns, and letter names through songs and stories about 45 Animated-Alphabet™ Characters. Instruction continues in phonics and word recognition through the use of guided drawing and labeling lessons.  After the introduction of only two sounds (“P” and short “U”),  students learn to draw and label a pup.  After learning  the word, pup, short “O” is introduced and the students learn to draw a “pop” and read and write the word, pop.  “M” is then introduced and the students learn to decode, read, and write the word, mom.  With the introduction of each new sound, letter, or letter pattern, one or more drawing and labeling lessons is introduced.
